New Ecuador entry requirement effective as of today •Aug 15, 20/20 ️

SAT 15 AUG 20/20 (11:36am) ️ "The National Emergency Operations Committee decided that all national and foreign citizens who enter Ecuador by air and who have a negative RT-PCR test, are exempt from complying with the APO time (Mandatory Preventive Isolation).

️ The traveler who has no RT-PCR negative test upon arrival will have to take one at their cost and meet the isolation until delivery of a negative test.

Another of the resolutions is the one concerning the isolation time, which according to the general guidelines established by the Health Authority passes a period of at least ten days. The counting of the days will be made from the entry into the country (9 nights 10 days).

Within the established protocol, the decision is maintained that states that passengers, prior to disembarking, must sign the special APO immigration form and the traveler's health declaration, documents that must be presented and delivered upon arrival to the Migration and Ministry of Public Health personnel." -
