👹PLANNED STREET PROTESTS👺 by the Ecuador Indigenous populations STARTING TOMORROW -

... A visit and replay of last October 2019 11 Days of Riots.

PROTEST MOBILIZATIONS TOMORROW OCT 22, 20/20-

The health, economic and social crisis that the country is experiencing has led to that the National Government adopt a series of actions and policies that have been rejected by social, trade union, indigenous organizations, considered unpopular. 😦

These organizations declared October as THE MONTH OF THE
RESISTANCE AND POPULAR STRUGGLE for which, they called a * new national day of mobilizations for the 22/2020 * protests in
those that antagonistic groups such as the Proletarian Bloc would participate, Antifascist Action,

👧🏻👨🏼‍🎤👩🏼‍🎤Guevarista Youth among others, whose purpose will be
take advantage of these protests to generate violent actions against
National Police. 👮🏼‍♂️

Mon 10/19/20/20 - Message for U.S. Citizens: Two Weeks Until Election Day - Alternative Ways to Return Your Ballot...Fast

ACSQuito@state.gov

'Message for U.S. Citizens: Two Weeks Until Election Day - Alternative Ways to Return Your Ballot...Fast-

-"With only two weeks remaining before the November 3 Election Day, the U.S. Embassy in Quito and Consulate General in Guayaquil strongly recommend that you return your ballot electronically (by email, fax, or internet) if your state offers these options. There are many mobile applications that allow users to convert a photograph to a fax if your state allows ballots to be returned this way.

If you must send a paper ballot, we urge you to use an express courier service as soon as possible to make sure your ballot arrives to your election official before your state’s deadline for receiving ballots.  Remember that some couriers do not ship to P.O. boxes.

If you are expecting a paper ballot by mail but have not received it, consider using the Federal Write-in Absentee Ballot (FWAB). Every state accepts the FWAB in lieu of the local ballot. You can use the FWAB as an emergency, back-up option if you do not have time to return your local ballot. To download the FWAB, visit the website for the Federal Voting Assistance Program here.

Ballots dropped off at the Embassy and Consulate General at this point would be unlikely to arrive to your state in time to be counted as delivery times to the United States are between 4-6 weeks. That said, the Embassy and Consulate General will continue to accept ballots through Election Day. Please see our website for up to date information on the days and times when you can drop off your ballot.

For more information on your state’s local requirements and deadlines, please visit www.FVAP.gov.  If you have any questions, please contact VoteQuito@state.gov or VoteGuayaquil@state.gov

Above Photos from the last US Presidential Election Night Banquet by the US Embassy held at the 'Hotel Colon' in Quito. TUE 08 NOV 2016. Deja vu 2 weeks out in 20/20, polls show an ez win for Ole Joe, and last minute negative damaging docs and info being strategically released on a daily basis.

Sep 21, 20/20 'Political Risk Analysis: What’s Ahead For Ecuador’s Economy In 2021?-

 Sep 21, 20/20 🛢️💵💳⚖️ 'Political Risk Analysis: What’s Ahead For Ecuador’s Economy In 2021?-

"Ecuador was the first country in Latin America to experience a significant outbreak during the global Covid-19 pandemic. The country has been hit hard both by the virus itself and by the disruption caused by efforts to contain its spread. After growing by only 0.1% in 2019, Ecuador’s GDP is expected to contract by 8.7% in 2020.

Meanwhile, the country’s embattled president, Lenin Moreno, has an approval rating of under 10%. With a presidential election on the horizon in 2021, Ecuador is at a crossroads. Ecuador’s economy is expected to bounce back in 2021, but the country’s next president will still need to rally support for reforms to the way pensions and state-owned enterprises are managed, and continue to look for ways to diversify exports. In 2019 oil accounted for over a third of Ecuador’s export income.

Encouraging investment and growth in new sectors will be essential for creating jobs and generating additional tax revenue. Foreign investors and executives doing due diligence on potential investment projects in Ecuador need to understand the country’s evolving political risk profile.

To discuss the current dynamic in Ecuador, I reached out to Sebastian Hurtado, the president of PRóFITAS, a political risk consultancy based in Quito, the country’s capital city.

Nathaniel Parish Flannery: Ecuador was in the news for being one of the first countries in Latin America to be hit hard by the coronavirus contagion. Where do things stand now?

Sebastian Hurtado: If you look at public records for total deaths in the first 6 months of 2020, half of the 28,000 excess deaths occurred in April, with over 12,000, an increase of over 300%, occurring in Guayas province, the original epicenter of the pandemic. Since then however, in May and June deaths fell dramatically at a national level as the pandemic subsided in Guayas, most likely due to a certain level of immunity achieved in that region and protective measures. In July, deaths began to rise again as the virus advanced in other regions, including the capital, Quito, however, they stabilized in August.

The government responded to the virus initially through a strict two-month national lockdown in mid-March and the implementation of social distancing measures. Although the response was too late in Guayas, it has been successful in preventing the recurrence of the disaster scenario in the province, which made international headlines due to grim photos of bodies left in streets of the province’s capital, Guayaquil. The effect of these measures is that the curve of cases in other cities, notably the capital, Quito, has been much less steep, with the virus spreading slowly which has mitigated the strain on the health system.

On the other hand, Ecuador has struggled to develop adequate testing and tracing infrastructure, limiting its ability to limit the virus’ spread further and raising worries about how recurring outbreaks can be effectively contained. Furthermore, as is the case in many developing countries, inadequate living and working conditions make social distancing difficult, providing ideal conditions for the virus to spread and further complicating the work of tracing teams......." -

WED Sept 2, 20/20 ☣️' Ecuador Opened Borders to All countries Without Quarantine-

- "COVID-19 continues to shake and hurt the world with more than 25 million cases and an unprecedented and, in some cases, devastating economic impact. 😷

Nevertheless, some countries have already started to stabilize the situation within their territories while waiting for a vaccine or treatment that would allow us all to fully retake our passion for traveling.

Ecuador has been one of the hardest-hit countries in South America, with an economic loss estimated at US 16,000 million. In an attempt to help the economy bounce back, Ecuador has created “Te lo Prometo Ecuador “,

....an ambitious national campaign centered on the new sort of “biosafe tourism” reactivation that promises to motivate people to travel and rediscover the country. But, first things first, where does the country stand regarding COVID-19? RELATED:– Colombia Gradually Reopening Borders – Peru Reopening Border – All You Need to Know – List of Countries Opened to US citizens

Arriving in Ecuador –

Restrictions and security measures for international visitors As in most countries that are reopening their borders to tourism, Ecuador demands visitors to bring proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test result taken within 10 days before arrival and wear a face mask.

Visitors will also be checked upon entering but as long as they do not show any symptoms that may alert the medical staff, entrance will be granted and no quarantine will be needed

If the traveler, however, does not bring the test results or if they have symptoms related to COVID-19 such as fever, dry cough, severe sore throat, or rapid breathing, they must immediately take a test, and quarantine for 14 days in an accommodation authorized by the government, all at their own expense......" -

27 AUG 20/20 (CHL) ☣️ 'Will there be a return to normal in Ecuador after the Covid-19 pandemic?-

27 AUG 20/20 (CHL) ☣️ 'Will there be a return to normal in Ecuador after the Covid-19 pandemic?-

"By John Williams, "As an expat, it takes a while to figure out what is “normal” in your new surroundings and culture... "Depending on who is counting, the number of who return “home” is somewhere between 40% – 60% in the first 3 years."

"Forget about the old days. They are gone. Forget about the old ways of doing things. They are gone.

We are facing things our parents never faced. Your children are facing things that you, as a child, never faced. Everything has changed … .completely … categorically. And forget about your belief in a return to normal. There is no normal."

'How will life and society function in the recovery period and beyond?-
What will we have learned as a society from this pandemic experience? And how will we function differently when we emerge, one step at a time?

Most of us are anxiously waiting for a Covid-19 vaccine to so that we can “return to normal”. However, will that reality be similar to how it life was before the pandemic? Covid-19 has changed life as we knew it.

Everything from our social gatherings to our daily errands has been completely changed, and those adjustments will not go away quickly, nor completely. The whole world is eagerly awaiting a Covid-19 vaccine for the safety of ourselves and of our loved ones, and for the return of life as we know knew it.

One thing that is important to remember, is that this is not going to be one of those light switch occurrences, when all of a sudden we have a vaccine and everyone is automatically vaccinated. It’s going to take some time,” said Hilary Godwin, Dean of the University of Washington’s School of Public Health.

“We have several vaccine candidates under development, but the chance of any single one of those being super effective is not great.”

In the USA, the work of lifelong medical experts and public health professionals has been politicized to the point where too many now have been brainwashed into thinking of vaccines and routine common-sense health measures as are “plots” by the government.

A much smaller subset in Ecuador might refuse to get vaccines even after one, (or more), has been proven viable. But Ecuador’s government has steadfastly shown that it is trying to follow experts’ advice, and the impact of anti-expert rebels should be much less of a problem here than it will be in the USA.

'What should we expect as we move through the recovery period?-
Face masks will continue to be common apparel.

'Experts believe that:
-We will become more of a “mask-wearing “ society as many people will continue to try to protect themselves and their families,
-There will be fewer vacation and business trips and more remote work opportunities,
-Enough people will resist attending concerts, sporting events and other large group activities that they will be slow to return for several years,

-There will be additional and significant psychological, societal and cultural impacts,
-We will end up with a public health system that is more prepared to handle epidemics and pandemics,
-We should anticipate continuing levels of discord throughout communities.,
-The virus won’t go away completely,

To prepare for the journey ahead we should all make sure that we have our personal affairs in order. If Covid-19 has taught us anything it is that we cannot see or even really imagine what the future holds.

Prudence says that in order to protect ourselves and our loved ones we should each have a will that is valid in Ecuador, a Medical Power of Attorney for our care if we get sick, and a Medical ID card to alert emergency medical providers to our specific needs....." -
